The Lignea Collection is the continuation of an imaginary trip down memory lane, promoted by Pomi d’Umbria brand, and is designed to increase the value of artistic craftsmanship in “the Green Heart of Italy” through the evocative power of our sense of smell.

Its spicy, amber fragrance, opening with pine and eucalyptus in the top notes, and developing with aromas of black pepper and juniper berries towards the heart notes, to achieve a magnificent finale of cedar wood and patchouli, means you only have to close your eyes to find yourself immersed in the scent of the wood essences of Umbria’s old craft workshops.
The designer tops used for the fragrance containers draw inspiration from the traditional knowledge and skills of wood craftsmen and their work, including Renaissance style molding and plaster and gold decorations.
These works of art, skillfully hand-crafted using slow methods and complex procedures, are designed to make an impression because they are unique. The designer tops are made from wooden picture frames decorated with leaf and fruit molding. They are fashioned one by one, shaped exclusively by hand, with a gold leaf finish, to become true jewels of the finest craftsmanship. Any tiny imperfection in the material renders each product unique and tells the story of a valuable art and craft process.
As a designer I have a strong affinity with the Pomi d’Umbria philosophy, which shows care for its products in every detail, driven by an extraordinary passion for beauty and the quality of life. Through the emotional experience of room fragrances, Pomi is all about combining quality craftsmanship with local culture. So, the Lignea Collection becomes an opportunity to take a trip down memory lane and discover the treasures of this land. Even as a child, I was in awe of the magnificent gold decorations seen on church altars, and through my studies I learned to appreciate their great artistic value and craftsmanship.
